Troubleshooting Microsoft XPS

Win2PDF uses a technology in Windows called the XML Paper Specification or XPS.  The XPS print architecture is a core part of every version of Windows since Windows Vista, and many paper printers and features such as Microsoft’s Easy Print rely on the technology.  Under rare circumstances, the Microsoft XPS component may stop working because of a configuration problem or damaged dependencies.

You can test if XPS is working properly by printing to the Microsoft XPS Document Writer printer.  If this fails to create an XPS file, then Win2PDF won’t work either.
