Embedded hyperlinks aren't converted to PDF hyperlinks
Posted by admin admin on 22 November 2006 08:51 PM

Problem:
The embedded hyperlinks in a Word document aren't converted to PDF hyperlinks by Win2PDF.

Solution:
Links will be preserved if the text in the printed document starts with the characters "http:" or "www". We do not, however, support embedded links that do not begin with these characters. For example,

http://www.win2pdf.com --> will be converted to link
www.win2pdf.com --> will be converted to link
win2pdf (embedded link) --> will not be converted

To link to a file, the text must appear with this format:

file:///c:/PDF/myfile.pdf

If this text is listed in the document that is being printed, a link will be created that points to the file.
