hyperlink border style
Posted by admin admin on 22 November 2006 05:08 AM
Problem:
Can you get the hyperlinks in the PDF without the dotted line around them?

Solution:
It's not possible to change the hyperlink border style, but it is possible to remove the hyperlinks altogether. If you click on the "PDF Options" dialog from the "Win2PDF file save" dialog and uncheck the "Enable URL detection" checkbox, the URLs won't have the dashed border.

The latest verion of Adobe Reader does not display dotted lines around PDF hyperlinks.

I cant disable url detection via registry. I set "HKCU/Software/VB and VBA Program Settings/Dane Prairie Systems/Win2PDF/file options" to 0x00000000 and "persistent" to 1. But this didnt work. Whats wrong?
I also set this under HKLM with no effect.

Newer versions of Adobe Reader automatically detect URLs even if Win2PDF doesn't add hyperlinks to the PDF. You can disable this in Adobe Reader under "Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Create links from URLs".
