Send File option doesn't open Microsoft Outlook

Problem:
When the "Send File" option is checked in the Win2PDF File Save window, the PDF is created but isn't attached.  The default email application is Microsoft Outlook.

Solution:

If you download and run the free Win2PDF Mail Helper application, it has an additional configuration option that may resolve your problem.

After installing the utility, when you run "Configure Win2PDF Mail Helper" from "Start -> All Programs -> Win2PDF", you will have three options:

  • "Use the default MAPI client"
  • "Use Microsoft Outlook"
  • "Use the Win2PDF Mail Helper"

If you select "Use Microsoft Outlook" and click OK, it will configure Win2PDF to always use Outlook and may resolve the problem. Let me know if making this change doesn't fix the issue.
