Question:

How does Win2PDF handle fonts if the font is not licensed to allow embedding?

Answer:

Win2PDF uses the Windows API to check if the font is licensed to allow embedding. If the font is not licensed for embedding, the font is rasterized as a bitmap instead of embedded. This can increase the file size, but the font will be displayed in the PDF as intended.

If the font does allow embedding, Win2PDF only embeds a subset of the font. Only the characters used in the document are included in the embedded font.
