Batch convert TIFF files to PDF

Question:
Can Win2PDF batch convert TIFF to PDF?

Answer:
It isn't possible to do convert TIFF to PDF directly, but it can be done in conjunction with the free IrfanView application. You can download IrfanView here:

http://download.cnet.com/IrfanView/3000-2192_4-10021962.html?tag=mncol;1

Next, you should configure Win2PDF to automatically name the PDF as described here:

http://www.win2pdf.net/helpdesk/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=119&nav=0

You should use the %PDFTitle% environment variable in the file name. After this is set up, you can batch convert a folder of TIFF files to PDF using the following command:

for %i in (*.tif) do "c:\Program Files (x86)\IrfanView\i_view32.exe" %i /print="Win2PDF"

This can be executed from a batch file, or directly from a command prompt.  After completing the batch, you can run the admin utility to clear the file name so you can create PDF files interactively.
