Access report loses color in PDF

Problem:
When printing a Microsoft Access report that contains color information to the Win2PDF printer, the PDF file loses color information and displays in black and white.

Solution:
The problem is related to the default printer set in the database. To resolve the problem do the following:
-Open the database in design view.
-Go to "Page Setup..." dialog.
-Select "Use Specific Printer", and then select the Win2PDF printer.
-Save the database

When you create a new PDF file after following these steps, the PDF should contain color information.

Extra blank pages in Access reports

Problem:

When converting an Access database report using Win2PDF, an extra blank page at the end. The report does not print an extra blank page to a paper printer.

Solution:

This is caused by slight differences in paper margins reported by Win2PDF compared to the paper printer. You can remove the extra blank page by modifying the layout of the report.

Open the Access database in design view and select the properties for the report and change the report width. Also, modify the margins in page layout to make sure the page width will work with the report width.

Missing lines from Access

Problem:

Some boxes and lines are missing when printing from Microsoft Access.

Solution:

If you enable an option labelled "Use alternate line drawing" on the "Troubleshooting" tab of the "Win2PDF Administrator Utility", it should resolve the problem. The "Win2PDF Administrator Utility" can be downloaded from the Win2PDF support web site at:
